Afternoon Tea at The Treehouse Tea Room

 1. Booking & Deposits

Afternoon Tea must be booked in advance with The Treehouse Tea Room - at least 1 business day in advance. Any bookings made for a Tuesday must be finalised by 4pm on the Saturday before.

A 50% deposit per person is required to secure the booking. This deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

All guests within a booking must take part in the afternoon tea service.

2. Minimum Numbers

Our Afternoon Tea experience is available for a minimum of two guests per table booking.

As our Afternoon Tea is freshly prepared in batches and presented as a full experience, we do not offer single Afternoon Teas on their own.

3. Gift Vouchers

If you are booking using a gift voucher, you must provide the voucher code at the time of booking.

Failure to provide the code in advance may result in the voucher not being accepted on the day.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be valid at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice may transfer the deposit to a future booking, subject to availability.

No-shows or late cancellations will result in the loss of the deposit.

5. Dietary Requirements

We are happy to cater for most dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 48 hours in advance.

While we always do our best to accommodate requirements, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

6. Group Bookings

For groups of 10 or more, full payment may be required in advance.

Final guest numbers must be confirmed 48 hours before the booking.

7. Time Allocation

Tables are allocated for a 90-minute / 1.5-hour experience.

Please arrive on time to enjoy your full booking period.

Late arrival may reduce the time available at your table.

8. Changes to Booking

Any changes to your booking, including time, date, or number of guests, should be made as early as possible.

We will always do our best to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.

9. Additional Guests & Sharing

Afternoon Tea is charged per person and is not intended for sharing between guests.

If a guest within a booking does not wish to have a 3 tier afternoon tea they must choose from one of the following options:

• Where an additional guest joins the table and wishes to share the Afternoon Tea offering, an additional charge of £8.00 will apply. This includes bottomless tea or coffee and table service during the 1.5-hour booking period.
• Fresh cream scone with bottomless tea or coffee during the 1.5-hour experience – £12.00
• Main Menu Option – the guest may purchase a meal from the main menu and an alternative drink or access bottomless tea or coffee for £5.00 per person, in line with the table experience.  

These options are only applicable to groups with 3+ guests.

10. General

Afternoon Tea is served as a set menu and is not interchangeable with other menu items.
